DNA analyses show that domestic dog (CanisFamaliaris) is the ancestor of wolf (CanisLupus). Wolf's ability to adapt to different life conditions and the talent to create effective social partnership permit allow them to live on our planet for many millennia. For that very reason the wolf was the most suitable animal to be among the first who lived with a human in one house. Domesticate wolves were into luck more than 400 millions of dogs live on the planet while there are only 400 thousands of wolves in the wild.
In ancient times, the ancestors of cute Cocker Spaniel wandered in the wild.
