Daily time commitment
Combine daily walks with secure opportunities to stretch out. Its coursing background does not mean uncontrolled running or a universal timed quota.
Coat and everyday care
Smooth and rougher coats occur; ask which applies and brush accordingly. Inspect feet and skin after fast exercise on uneven ground.
Challenges to plan for
The FCI describes reserve in some situations and liveliness when hunting. Assess small-animal reactions and prevent sudden pursuit through open gates.
How does it compare?
The Greyhound is a close-looking comparison, but the Galgo has a longer-bodied Spanish coursing identity and may have a rough coat.
