Daily time commitment
RKC suggests up to an hour of daily adult exercise. Include sniffing, teaching games and company, with safe management around small pets.
Coat and everyday care
Groom several times weekly and arrange appropriate clipping of the body coat. This differs from hand-stripping many wiry terrier coats.

A gentle reputation does not remove terrier instincts or grooming demands. Choose the individual after observing adults and discussing household circumstances.
