Weekly brushing usually maintains the short coat. Add routine paw and body checks; a reputation for cleanliness does not replace normal care.

Sight and scent hunting instincts require sensible boundaries and small-animal management. A yodelling dog can still make noise and need active engagement.

The Pharaoh Hound is another elegant hunting breed worth investigating, but differs in scale and background. Do not select either from appearance alone.
