Its standard does not set an exercise duration. Schedule structured walks, cooperative handling and calm boundary work suited to the individual.

Maintain the flat harsh coat with regular checks and introduce mouth, paw and body examination while the dog is manageable.

UKC specifically describes stranger wariness and potential dog aggression. Social experience helps, but reliable separation and secure handling remain essential.

The Majorca Mastiff is another Iberian molosser, but it is not the same island breed or simply a smaller Presa.
