Cats of this breed are well-known for their smooth hair, sturdy and strong body and also for luxurious and varied color. European shorthair cat has rounded and slightly stretched forward head. Modern representatives of this breed are almost independent from the owner, keeping some distance from the human. Mutual respect on both sides helps to keep warm relationships. European shorthair kittens must be treated very carefully, that’s why you shouldn’t leave them alone.
European shorthair shows idependence in care - cats quite well serve themselves and they are very neat. They do not need occasional bathing and combing. So, they get along well with other animals, as long as they were not taken as prey! Their health is quite good, the European shorthair are cat centenarians!
